About the artisan:
Joan Musgrave studied art at Belfast College of Art and Hornsea College of Art, London. She lived in Zambia for 13 years and worked on projects for the Livingstone Museum and the Wildlife Conservation Society of Zambia.She came to live in Jerusalem in 2000, where she shared in an art group and met Lois Nakhleh. The two then worked together to produce the Palestinian wildflower calendars.
